Budget Type

This system table gives the user (preferably a system administrator or capable user), an AMT Client method to add new, update or delete budget types. This previously required an SQL database update.

A user can associate a number of periods with a budget which is used as part of the Publish process. The number of periods associated with a budget will be compared with the number of periods of the associated Data Set Definition (DSD) during the EPF Configuration Wizard process. If the DSD Periods (what the export expects) do not equal the Budget Type periods (what AMT is generating), the user will be given a warning message.

Changes to this system table are audited and logged.
